1. Who is responsible
Harsh Kohli decides why player and server records are kept for this bot. The bot and this website are hosted at harshkohli.com. The rules for using the bot are in the Terms of Service.
2. Information the bot collects
When you play or when a server is configured, the bot can store:
- your Discord user ID and username;
- the server ID where a game was played;
- game results, including wins, losses, abandoned games, questions answered, duration, attempts, points, XP, streaks, and the time you played;
- the name from a finished guess, which may appear on your profile;
- the category and language of the game;
- server settings chosen by a manager, such as the game channel, enabled categories, child mode, public or private visibility, cooldown, idle timeout, reward, shared-game setting, and an optional admin role ID.
While a game is open, the current question and answers are held in memory on the host so the round can continue. That live session is removed when the game ends, expires, or the bot shuts down. The saved result, if any, stays in the database.
The bot does not read the text of ordinary chat messages. Commands and button presses are received because you used them.
3. How the information is used
Records are used to run the current game, show profiles, statistics, and leaderboards, apply server settings and cooldowns, prevent spam, and keep the service reliable. Error logs are used to repair problems.
Player information is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles.
4. What other people can see
A public game message is visible in the channel. A private game, a help menu, a settings confirmation, and most error replies are ephemeral and are meant for the person who invoked them.
Leaderboards can show rank, username, points, wins, and win rate to people who can use the command. A profile can show statistics and recent guesses. Server settings are shown to people allowed to view or change them.
5. Where it is stored
Saved records are stored in a database for this bot. Live games stay in memory on the machine that hosts the bot at harshkohli.com. Operational logs are written on that host. Logs are written so tokens, cookies, and API keys are left out, and they rotate so they do not grow without limit.
6. Who receives it
Information is used inside this service and is sent through Discord because that is where you use the bot. Gameplay requests needed to produce the next question or guess are sent by the bot's own code. Records are not given to advertisers.
Harsh Kohli may disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to investigate abuse of the bot.
7. How long it is kept
Player statistics and game history are kept so profiles and leaderboards remain available. Server settings are kept until a manager resets them or they are removed. Live game sessions expire after the configured idle time, or sooner if the game ends or the process stops.
You may email send@harshkohli.com and ask for your player record and game history to be deleted. Deletion removes the stored statistics. It does not erase messages that Discord still shows in a server.
8. Security
The database is protected with its account credentials, and the bot token stays on the host that runs the bot. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers to the bot or to the contact address. The bot does not ask for them.
9. Children
The bot follows the age requirement Discord sets for an account. Child mode is a gameplay filter. It does not verify age. If you believe a child's record was saved in error, email send@harshkohli.com and ask for it to be deleted.
10. Your choices
You can stop playing at any time, and a server manager can remove the bot. Email send@harshkohli.com with your Discord account to ask for a copy of your player record, a correction of a clearly wrong username or result, or deletion of that record.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. The new policy applies from the time it is posted.
